- I could not be happier with this baby bonnet. I was originally hesitant to spend so much on a hat, but it is extremely practical. My daughter started wearing her hat at one month and it fit well when none of her other hats did. I gather that it is comfortable because it is the only hat she doesn't protest wearing as well. If you carry your baby in a Beco type carrier or sling, the bonnet style is great because it less bulky than an all-around brim hat and allows her freedom of movement to turn her head. The bonnet is well made and has held up through several washings. This is one of the baby purchases that I am most satisfied with and I have ordered the next size up as well. I use the bonnet frequently for the reasons outlined above and we always get compliments when we are out in it! I also would not hesitate to give this bonnet as a gift because it is so well made and pretty.
